| I am 33 years old and live in Providence,
Rhode Island with my husband Kevin and 3 children, Fiora (10), Liam (7)
and Kevin (7). I am 1 of 9 children born and raised in Limerick City,
Ireland.
I came to America in 1985 to go to Providence College on a track and cross country scholarship. Whilst there , I met my husband who was also on the track team. We married right after graduation and have been married for 11 years. I teach 6th. grade English and Social Studies at Nathanael Green Middle school. I began stamping 4 years ago and gradually investigated various forms of paper arts. I am fascinated by intricate detail, especially the kind seen in Scherenschnitte. I am inspired to create when I see beautiful, rich images, especially from the Victorian era and very much admire the work of fellow tag artist Nancy Hunt-Bartek. I also love making quilts and flexible dolls.
